Traveling to Telum

Wil continued now upon the paved road, several merchants passing him and his party as they neared Telum more and more, forward through the country. He could already feel and smell the coasts so close, the air was refreshing compared to that of Fumo. This was going to be a very enjoyable experience for him, he could tell. "I feel more relaxed already." He commented as he moved on.

Kanji waved at some familiar faces as they walked along the roads and was feeling better about returning home now than when he was thinking negatively earlier. He was smiling broadly and moving around quite a bit, high fiving many of the traders, something many had learned to tolerate from him and some even enjoyed it. Several questions were asked about the girl to which Kanji would reply with a series of lies, mostly because he could, several of which involved a wealthy man who treated his daughter horribly and so he broke in to rescue her. By the looks on their faces, few of them believed the story. He made his way back to Will after a while looking much more cheerful than earlier. "Sorry about wandering off like that. Guess the sea breeze got me a little hyper." He was still carrying Lara around but his arm had gotten tired during the journey and he had sat her on his shoulders and held her up with his other arm.

Will didn't pay much attention to Kanji as he wandered off, not acknowledging him until he had came back and mentioned the sea breeze getting him hyper. Will was caught up in his own thoughts, and enjoying the breeze himself. "It's fine. We will be approaching the town soon, so be prepared. Not sure how populated it is here, but considering it's a coast town, there are sure to be a ton of people." Will continued on quietly, dodging the passing merchants and people if they threatened to walk into him. Every once and a while he'd glance at Kanji, just to make sure Lara was alright.
