Raum stared out of the window of the carriage for quite a while, every thought hitting his brain like a brick. His family dead, everything turned on him suddenly, Raum's anger holding no comparison to the silence he gave in the carriage. The only person he really knew anymore was Aero, and sometimes it even felt ludicrous to trust him so easily. After all, his life had been stolen from him for monetary reasons, who knows how many others would do the same. Looking up occasionally, Raum glimpsed at the overcast sky preparing for a rainy day and sighed with discontent. As the bumpy carriage slowed to a stop, Raum lifted his eyes open having unknowingly fallen into a short nap. They were arriving in Telum, so Raum put aside his thoughts and lifted himself from the seat.
Most of the pain had dissipated from him, and it felt good to stretch himself out. Most of the bandages were still apparent around his arms, but a large cut remained across his left cheek as Raum refused to keep it bandaged. Hearing a few knocks, he opened the door of the carriage and stepped outside nodding his head at Aero. After unlocking the door, he crept inside to scout around the place and walked back to Aero. They would need to develop some plans for their next steps.
